As you know, I make movie lists every single year since I founded my web site www.tst.gen.tr in 1999. Since then; “Titanic”, “Gladiator”, “The Fifth Element”, “The Lord Of The Rings”, “Signs”, “Hair”, “Captain EO”, “Crash”, “The Devil’s Arithmetic”, “Jumper”, “The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button”, “This Is It”, “Inception”, “Immortals”, “The Avengers” and “The Hunger Games” became winners between 1999 and 2014. Now a new year has come: it is 2015! I hope you know the rule. If a movie enters TST Interactive’s cinema list, the reproductions of the movie or continuations of the series can’t able to enter my list again. For example, last year I have watched “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel”, “Robocop”, “300: Rise of an Empire”, “Rush Hour 3”, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”, “The Amazing Spider-Man 2”, “Never Back Down 2: The Beatdown”, “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1”, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” but they couldn’t enter my new list, because in the previous cinema lists, their first versions could enter. In 2014, I have watched lots of movies and most of them were very good and some of them had a potential to be number one. It was really hard to decide number one. So I chose “Masters Of The Universe” as #1 of my 2015 movie list, because He-Man was my childhood hero with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In fact, there were more movies which deserved to be number one in this list but I behaved emotionaly and if someone makes a new version of “He-Man: Masters Of The Universe” in the future, I won’t be able to put it again in my future lists because of my rule. For example, Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill are working for a new version of “The Justice League” and it seems that we have to wait 2017 to see it but it is already shown in my 2015 list.
Anyway, I put the unique movies in my lists every year. However, in 2009, I made an “all-time greatest movie” list to celebrate my web site’s 10th year birthday. The special and unique list’s winner was “Moonwalker” and was translated into several languages for being in the news. Also in 2014, I published another alternative list which is consisted by greatest time travel movies and “Butterfly Effect” was number one in that list. After I did the list, I have continued to watch time travel movies and TV series. In 2014 I have watched movies called “Butterfly Effect 3: Revelations”, “He-Man: Masters Of The Universe”, “Click”, “Safety Not Guaranteed”, “X-Men: Days of Future Past”, “Edge of Tomorrow”, “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes”, “Sleeper”, “Mr. Nobody”, “Donnie Darko”, “Hot Tub Time Machine”, “Interstellar”, “Lucy”, “Zaman Makinesi 1973” which are time travel themed and there was also a time travel scene in Turkish TV Series “Sana Bir Sır Vereceğim”s last part…
I dedicated this page to the stars who are lost, especially this time Robin Williams who has got many movies in this list (in fact I already watched most of them but I forgot to put them in my previous lists); Grace Kelly who is acted by Nicole Kidman in “Grace of Monaco”; Shirley Temple, Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Sammy Davis, Jr. and Charlie Chaplin who have impersonatars in “Mister Lonely” movie; Aaliyah Dana Haughton who has a movie in TST Interactive’s 2003 list called “Romeo Must Die”, “Sparkle”s actress Whitney Houston; Harold Ramis who is one of the first actors who has a movie (it is “Ghostbusters”) in TST Interactive’s first movie list which is published in 1999… I must add that one of the “Ghostbusters” movies was the first movie which I watched in a cinema theatre saloon as I remember. I was only a child. And the first movie which I watched in a video player must be “Back To The Future” in 1985.
